Education

High Expectations

Expectations for student learning are high for all students. We believe in equal opportunity for all. We reject both the muddle of mediocrity that comes from low expectations and the pressure of perfectionism. Grammar, Logic, & Rhetoric - The Trivium of Classical Education is embraced as our instructional philosophy. Students at ACE schools will be taught differently as they grow, and their brains mature. ACE schools embrace the basics of Reading, Writing, and Math for all students. These skills are the building blocks of any quality education. History and Science are taught at all grade levels. In Jr. High and High School, Socratic teaching is expected for these subjects.

Transparent Curriculum

science class
Technology is introduced in age-appropriate ways: young children in Primary School (PK–2) receive limited exposure, with more structured use beginning in Elementary School (Grades 3–6). In Jr. High and High School, students engage more deeply with technology—always with guidance on its ethical use and character development. High school students may focus on either Classical Humanities or STEM pathways, with the flexibility to explore both.

A transparent curriculum is central to our Parent-School partnership. Parents have access to curricula for all grades and subjects, and we implement a spiral approach wherever possible to reinforce learning through repetition and growth. Our curriculum is inspired by the Cultural Literacy principles of Dr. E.D. Hirsch.
